vs. lavos:

A few words about equipping your charactes. Each must be given his/her best weapon, and Robo should be given Terra (nor Crisis) Arm, otherwise he wouldn't be very a reliable attacker (if he uses an attack after being revived, it will do 0 damage).

Crono and Marle have no chances for surviving all of the non-fractional moves, so it's a good idea to give one of them (or both) one of your two Haste Helms. I chose Crono and Robo, because they will be doing all the attacking in this (and the next) battle.

The only elemental attack the boss uses is the lightning based spell in the second battle, so Crono and Marle are given White Mails just in case. Robo is given an armour to guard his status, as having the Haste Helm on leaves him vulnerable to status effects that may very well lead us to a disaster when he is the only party member still standing.

As for accessories, Crono should be given Gold Stud, as we want him to be able to pull off both his Confuse tech and Lifeline with buddies. The same applies to Marle, and Robo gets the GreenDream, because he can do up exactly 3 Uzzi Punches without any MP cost reducing accessories equipped.
